All Fifth Call applicants are encouraged to make use of a new service, a pre-assessment of main sections of the application form. 

The Secretariat will check:

• if the partnership is appropriate
• if the general project description is understandable
• if products and services are described clearly,
• and if a description of their functionality is provided.

Project should fill in sections 2, 3.3 and 4.1 of the main application form. Until the PMC approves of the application form for the Fifth Call, please use the Fourth Call form for this. Please submit your project descriptions to secretariat@northernperiphery.eu by February 9th. 

There will be a possibility to meet with the pre-assessing Desk Officer in connection to the How to Apply seminar held on 23rd of February 2010 in Copenhagen. 

The Fifth Call for Applications will run from the 3rd of February to the 24th of March 2010. The call is open to applicants from across the programme area and to projects addressing both priorities.

A new call for preparatory projects opened on 3rd of February 2010.

The call includes a wider definition of products and services and a more elaborate description of a number of themes. In addition, applicants are encouraged to submit applications addressing the negative impacts of the global economic crisis.
