New Head of Secretariat

The Northern Periphery Programme has appointed a new Head of Secretariat, Mr. Ole Damsgaard, who will start his position on 12th February 2013.

Ole Damsgaard has a background as human geographer and has a proven track record within the field of regional development and planning. Ole has for the past 8 years been the Director of Nordregio in Stockholm with an international staff of 30-35 people.

Preparatory Project Call Closed

The Preparatory Project Call targeting main projects in the 2014-2020 period closed on 12th April 2013. By the deadline, the Programme Secretariat received a total of 42 preparatory project applications.
