[30/05/2011]

The Économusée Northern Europe project was nominated for the Northern Ireland Tourism Award for Best New Tourism Project in 2011.

A local partner, Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust, received the second price at the award ceremony in Belfast last week. The Économusée project and CCGHT were "Highly Commended" for their focus on business development, job creation and training of young people. After the ceremony, the Government Minister for Tourism told the project that she "expected to see much more of" them.
