Ole Damsgaard has a background as human geographer and has a proven track record within the field of regional development and planning. Ole has for the past 8 years been the Director of Nordregio in Stockholm with an international staff of 30-35 people. Nordregio is a well-known institute for applied research and policy development established by the Nordic Council of Ministers. The fields of study include regional development, cross border cooperation and spatial planning, as well as territorial and regional policies.
