RegioStars
The aim of RegioStars, the Awards for Innovative Projects, is to identify good practices in regional development and to highlight original and innovative projects that could be attractive and inspiring to other regions. The awards form an integral part of the communication policy of Regions for Economic Change.

About ROADEX
The ROADEX consortium implemented 3 projects under the Article 10 and the INTERREG IIIB Northern Periphery Programmes: ROADEX I, II and III.

The road network across the Northern Periphery plays a vital social and economic role in the development of communities, but the environmental and climatic conditions mean that maintaining and developing it is a challenging task, particularly given the low volumes of traffic.

The project has resulted in tangible benefits in the form of cost effective and money saving projects on the local road networks, and a significant quantity of new roads related information has been produced in the form of surveys, questionnaires, interviews, test structures, research, construction and monitoring reports.
