The call for NPA 2014-2020 preparatory project applications is now open for all 4 priorities. The call is ongoing, which means that applications can be submitted at any time. The purpose of preparatory projects is to develop project ideas in a more specific and focused direction, to examine the need for the project outputs among end users and stakeholders and to build up transnational partnerships. Typically, a preparatory project runs for up to 6 months. However, the Monitoring Committee may decide on other arrangements on a call-by-call basis. Minimum requirements - An eligible project idea
- Partners from 2 programme partner countries, at least one of which should be from a Member State.
- Eligible match funding in place
- Completion of the specific preparatory project application form
- Financial information for all partners
Budget Preparatory projects can normally have a total budget of up to 45 000 EUR, with a maximum programme grant of 29 250 EUR. For preparatory projects, a grant rate of 65% of eligible costs applies to all partners (both Member State and Non Member State). The grant is on condition of public or private match funding confirmed through match funding commitments. Application Pack The application pack, including the application form and the Programme Manual, can be found on the NPA interim website, on the tab "Preparatory Project Call": www.interreg-npa.eu.
