RYE³ aims to contribute to local, regional, national and transnational rural economic development by stimulating latent entrepreneurial abilities among young people in Northern Ireland, Faroe Islands, Finland and Greenland. This will be achieved through transferring the ‘Young Entrepreneurs Programme’(YEP), which has been delivered highly successfully in urban areas of Northern Ireland, into the rural communities of the above mentioned Countries to maximise and realise the full potential of the ability of young people in those rural areas.
Through RYE³ services, products, links and networks will be established trans-nationally to facilitate young people in rural areas to develop the skills, knowledge, confidence and capacity to create viable business ventures, improve local service provision, establish international trade routes and improve the competitiveness of the regions.
